The Beginner Heirloom Pillow Pattern

This is the pillow pattern that was featured in Sew News. This is a great smaller project to practice and learn on. Learn all of the heirloom techniques, step - by - step by the time you put it together. It measures about 16" across by 12" high (including the ruffle).

Notions: Size 60/8 machine needles, Madiera 80W 100% Cotton Thread (one White to match lace, one to match the colour of the fabric), and a 1.6/70 or 2.5/80 twin needle for pintucks.

Yardages
For true heirloom quality use Cotton Batiste (100% cotton) or a good quality Imperial Batiste (65% polyester, 35% cotton).
